Important Course Information

Course Materials
This program consists of seven (7) modules that cover various topics related to employment law and human resources. The first four (4) modules are delivered through online videos and reading materials, followed by a one-hour "Module 1 to 4 Review" Zoom class. The remaining three (3) modules are delivered through two days of Zoom classes. All course materials, including the online modules and zoom meeting links, will be provided exclusively through AMCTO's online learning portal, AMCTO Connect. You will receive zoom course access instructions for AMCTO Connect by April 5. The first class is May 3.

Diploma Version (Diploma In Municipal Administration)
The HR program is a stand alone certificate program but is also one of the four elements of AMCTO's Diploma in Municipal Administration (DMA). The other three elements are; Municipal Administration Program (MAP), Municipal Accounting and Finance Program (MAFP) and Municipal Law Program (MLP). The HR Diploma version includes the submission of a research report. A minimum grade of 60% on the report is required to apply credit for this program toward the DMA.
