Important Course Information

Please Note:

We are in the process of making changes to the Employment Law & Human Resources (HR) Program. The HR Report for DMA students is being phased out and will be replaced with new learning assessments starting Fall 2025. The current version of the program with the HR Report will run for two final cohorts in Winter 2025 and Spring 2025.

Course Access

This program is delivered through a combination of self-paced videos, readings, and Zoom classes. There is no textbook for this program. All videos and readings are provided through AMCTO's online learning portal, AMCTO Connect. You will receive an email by April 16 with instructions to access the program materials and Zoom meetings. Please prepare to start the program by this date. In the meantime, we suggest you book the class dates in your calendar.

You will need to attend the classes to receive the Certificate of Completion, but if you are enrolled or enrolling in the DMA, please add that item to your registration, so we can also give you access to the separate HR Report course in AMCTO Connect.

Your AMCTO Account

If you are an AMCTO member, or if you have registered for any AMCTO course or event in the past, it means you already have an account with us. Please register with your existing account instead of creating a new one. This ensures that your academic records live in a single profile and helps prevent other account issues. Contact education@amcto.com if you need help with updating your account or tracking down an old one.

Registering Someone Else

Course participants must register themselves with their own AMCTO accounts. If you are registering on behalf of an employee in your organization, please contact education@amcto.com and a staff member will help you register them by phone.
