Important Course Information
Course Access
This correspondence course is
delivered through AMCTO's online learning portal, AMCTO Connect. You will
receive an email by September 8 with instructions to access
the course. Please prepare to start the course by this date.
You will need to complete a series of written
assignments according to a given schedule. The first assignment is
due by September 22, and the final assignment is due by December 8.
The full schedule will be provided in the course once it opens by September 8.
Textbook
The course
textbook is provided as a PDF file to all registrants. The file will be
available to access/print in AMCTO Connect once the course opens by September
8. AMCTO provides the option to purchase a hard copy of the textbook with an
additional fee, and it is shipped through Canada Post's Xpresspost. To purchase
the hard copy, go to the MAP Unit 2 Textbook page and click
"Add to Cart". Then come back to this page to complete the course
registration process. Due to logistics, textbook shipping may not start until
after registration closes on August 11.
Your AMCTO Account
If you are an AMCTO
member, or if you have registered for any AMCTO course or
event in the past, it means you already have an account with us. Please
register with your existing account instead of creating a new one. This ensures
that your academic records live in a single profile and helps prevent other
account issues. Contact education@amcto.com if you need
assistance with updating your account or tracking down an old one.
Registering Someone Else
Course participants must
register themselves with their own AMCTO accounts. If you are registering on
behalf of an employee in your organization, please contact education@amcto.com and
a staff member will help you register them by phone.
Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy is
posted on the MAP web page (look
under "Cancellation & Refund Policy").
