Zone 5

Welcome to the Zone 5 home page.

The Counties of Haliburton, Hastings, Lennox and Addington, Northumberland, Peterborough, and Prince Edward, the District Municipality of Muskoka and the City of Kawartha Lakes are located in geographic Zone 5.

Municipal staff, as well as affiliated organizations are eligible to participate in the various activities coordinated within and by the Zone throughout the year. The Zones function as centres for AMCTO program delivery, information sharing, and networking. Twice a year (Spring and Fall) each Zone hosts meetings in their geographic areas. Zone meetings give members an opportunity to obtain and share information and key learnings, receive training, interact and network with colleagues, and form relationships that benefit them as well as their municipality.

Zone Members $250.00 Non-Zone Members $350.00

Zone 5 Meeting - Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Good afternoon Zone 5 members!

Please find attached copies of the presentations from yesterday's joint Zone 4 & 5 meeting hosted by the Town of Whitby. What a beautiful location and great food. A big thank you to Zone 4. It was great to see so many attendees - 78 in total!

The Spring Zone meeting will be held in Gravenhurst on April 26 and 27, 2017. Stay tuned for more details to come.

We have a great agenda thanks to the Zone Executives and we thank all of you who have sent in your registrations!

Just a reminder, the deadline to register for the Workshop and Zone meeting is October 3, 2016. We have only a handful of spaces left for the training, and only 3 spaces left for the zone meeting! If you would like to be placed on a cancellation list for the zone meeting, please email me and if there are any cancellations, we will let you know.

Please note, dinner reservations have been arranged for October 19th at the Greek Tycoon (please indicate on the registration form if you plan on attending).

Hello Zone 5 members!

We have now finalized the agenda for the Fall 2016 Zone Meeting and are happy to share with you all a fantastic training workshop on October 19 and the list of great speakers for the combined Zone 4 & 5 meeting to be held on October 20 in Whitby!

Location for the workshop and combined Zone meeting will be at the Regal Room, Centennial Building, 416 Centre Street South, Whitby, OntarioA block of rooms have been reserved for October 18^th and 19^that the Holiday Inn Express, 180 Consumers Drive, Whitby. 1 king or 2 queens for $112 per night. Use CODE: TWH for the group rate.
